First things first, give your spa some loving with a deep clean inside and out. Remove waste and scale build up found in the plumbing with Swirl Away – you’ll be surprised the gunk that can lurk in your piping. After cleaning the plumbing drain your spa and clean the entire surface with a spa surface cleaner. We recommend Squeaky Clean. Do not use any products that are not suitable for spas, as these products if not washed away appropriately will affect the chemistry in your spa.
Give your cover a good clean, this will rid it of any strong odours and build of mould. A product such Aerospace will not only give it a good clean but also protect it from UV rays.
Hose your filters and soak them over night in a Filter Renew. Consider replacing your filters with new ones if it has been over 1 year – this will ensure your spa filters efficiently, which will save you on chemicals and maintenance.
Refill your spa from the hose. We recommend normal tap water, if this is not an option for you please consult with our customer service department prior to filling spa. Once your spa is filled follow your Endless Spa Start Up procedure and balance your spa with your chemicals.
Run your spa and make sure your pumps are working properly. Set the temperature and listen for the heater to turn on. Ensure all the jets and working, spring is also a great time to replace any Jets that have deteriorated over the years.
