Simple Daily and Weekly Maintenance Routine For Silver Users

Silver Spas – using Perfect Balance System

1. Sanitise the Water
Test for FREE chlorine using the 5 way test strips – When?
Before entering spa EVERYTIME or at least ONCE a week when spa has not been used

• If Ok – you can enter spa
• If not OK – add some sanitizer – (Concentrating Chlorine)

2. Water Balance
Test for the correct pH levels – when?
ONCE a week

• If Ok – add maintenance dose of the Perfect Balance liquid
• If not OK(low) – adjust using Comfort Up , then add maintenance dose of the Perfect Balance liquid
• If not OK(high) – adjust using Aquality, then add maintenance dose of the Perfect Balance liquid

3. Water Clarity (at least once a week)
LOOK at the water –

• If the water is clear –just clean the filters (not applicable to purple filters)
• If the water is not perfect (i.e.: cloudy / foaming / dull / smelly) fix by:
• Oxidising the water by using an approved oxidiser for your system (Purity or Concentrating Chlorine),
• Then clean filters, degrease filters or replace with new filters. (Do not clean or degrease purple filters)
• If water is Ok, but not sparkling, use “Polysheen”. (Not recommended with micro filters – purple.)

4. Refresh Water (do not dump if spa is installed in ground)

• TDS levels may be too high
• HINT when everything you have been doing no longer works – it’s time to refresh

Other Tips

• Do not test for TA or Hardness – not required for the PERFECT BALANCE SYSTEM
• Replace Silver stick every 4 months
• Never use Bromine with Nature2 / Silver sticks
• Do not use Clarifiers with Purple throw away filter cartridges
