The best thing about spas is they can be used all year round. Now that the weather is cooling down a spa is the perfect place to relax in warm water. It is important to make your spa is set at a comfortable temperature and also safe to bathe in.
Finding the right level will be different for everyone. Some people like their spa really hot but most prefer the water setting to range between 37 degrees and 38 degrees.
If you are new spa owner, try adjusting the water temperature to around 36 degrees before you get in the spa. If this temperature seems too cold, slowly increase the temperature until you reach a desired and comfortable level.
At Endless we are passionate about making spa as energy efficient as possible. A common questioned ask by new spa owners is if they should turn the temperature down after they use it. While it sounds logical, you actually won’t see any energy savings at all if you keep changing the temperature. In fact you will spend more energy heating the spa up again before your next use! We recommend that you just kept it at a set temperature to be energy efficient.
If you a planning an extended holiday or don’t plan to use your spa for a long period of time, this may be a time that you consider reducing the temperature. However if you are using your outdoor spa on a regular basis you will actually save more money simply keeping it at the temperature you enjoy the most!
If you are pregnant or have other healthy conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes or other serious illnesses you should consider turning down the temperature before using the spa and consult with your doctor or other health care provider before using the spa.
If you have any questions about your spa temperature the Endless customer service department can help Monday – Friday. Please call (03) 8769 7300 or use our online contact form.
