Simple Spa Rules for Your Family & Friends
Spas are a fantastic way to spend quality time with family and friends. It is important to set some rules in place for everybody’s safety and enjoyment. Here are some rules that you may consider important:
General Spa Rules
Kids and adults alike, there are some good benefits to setting some rules for using the spa. Spas are wet areas so it is important to set in place no roughhousing or play fighting in or near the spa. Also, set a “no jumping” rule for the spa. Kids find it heaps of fun to make a splash however because spas are relatively small and shallow jumping can be dangerous.
Eating and Drinking Near the Spa
Be sure that you have rule in place that no glass or breakable items are used as there is nothing worse than the possibility of having broken glass in or around the spa area. We recommend all food and drink to be served in plastic or similar unbreakable materials.
Spa Rules for Kids
Kids enjoy spas just as much as adults but it is very important to keep some rules in place for their safety and enjoyment. The main rule that should be instigated is that kids are not allowed to use the spa unless there is adult supervision. Also, kids should be aware of safety rules such as no heads under the water and not to put their hands near jets or filters.
