Our new Artesian Disposable filters are designed to be thrown away and replaced every 3-4 months. A disposable filter will save time on maintenance and cleaning. The latest filter is designed to trap oils and organic debris in the filter fibres, and reduce chemical and filter costs. Unlike washable filters you will not be required to wash and soak filters on a weekly basis; there is in fact no maintenance. Simply after 3-4 months replace the filter with a new one!
The new disposable filter made from high grade melt blown polypropylene will remove contaminates such as body organics, clean up residue left after heavy use, and trap organics before they multiply ultimately reducing the sanitizers needed to keep the spa water clean.
Benefits & features:
1. Spa filters faster and more efficiently
2. Save money on water clarifiers, descummers, cartridge cleaners and defoamers
3. Easier to balance chemicals
4. Less contaminates in the water
5. Chemicals last longer
6. The dirtier the filter gets the better it will clean the water
7. Can last up to 6+ months in certain conditions
8. Disposable – never require cleaning
Which filters should you use – washable or disposable?
Deciding between washable and disposable filters is a choice you will need to make yourself. Many of our customers trail before deciding which is better for their spa usage and lifestyle. Spa users with a busy lifestyle prefer the disposable filter because they never require the maintenance that washable filters require. Disposable filters may not be suitable for heavy bather use however, as the filter life can be significantly decreased when the spa usage is high.Washable filters in the long run are cheaper, however there is more maintenance required. Washable filters need to be regularly cleaned and soaked with cartridge cleaner at least once a month.
If you are considering trailing our new Disposable filters please give our customer service department a call on 8769 7371 to determine whether these filters will be suitable for your spa. (Note: disposable filters are only available for Artesian made spas)
Our Spa Online store sells both types of filters.
