About EdgeCap®Technology EdgeCap® is defined as the edging that is placed around the top edge of our Smooth Edge Range and Endless Plunge Pools. It serves a dual purpose of protecting the spa or pool structure from the surrounds, and protects the outside parts of the pool from water damage. While it is practical, it is also incredibly attractive and an essential part of the finished aesthetics of the pool or spa. The pool coping can be a standalone feature, or can be the part that ties the pool into the decking or paved area.
Type of Pool Coping for Spas or Plunge Pools with EdgeCap® Technology
There are Endless choices when it comes to coping tiles.
Pool Coping Types: think about the finished look you desire – a square edge or bull nose (similar to your options with a kitchen bench!).
Pool Coping Materials: the most common include natural stone (Limestone, Sandstone, and Bluestone), concrete pavers or clay pavers. Materials as such come in a range of colours and patterns and they can be easily sealed to prevent water marks.
