Winter Coats, Heaters On, and Umbrellas up – winter is upon us and with the cold weather we tend to stay indoors and curl up near a heater. But we cannot forget about our outdoor spa pools bubbling away calling out our names. Spas provide endless benefits and although the weather is gloomy we should wrap a big towel around us, head outside and jump in all winter long.
Here is a reminder of why you should keep on soaking this winter:
Relieve Muscle and Joint Pain
Back pain, neck pain, and all over body soreness can be eased with just a quick dip in your spa. Whether you’re an athlete or just experience aches and pains from every day activities, a spa can be used in repairing sore muscles and injuries.
Reduce Stress and Sleep Better
Life can be hectic and stressful no matter what the weather. Sometimes we cannot avoid stress; however we can relieve it with a spa. Stress also can lead to a sleepless night. Spa-use stimulates the release of endorphins that makes us feel good. They encourage us to take time out and relax. Soaking in a spa before bed time will help you fall asleep a lot quicker and provide a deeper more relaxing sleep. By having a good sleep we can avoid emotions such as anger, tension and avoid lapse in concentration and memory loss.
Help Control Diabetes
Diabetics can benefit from a spa or Hot tub as recent studies show that blood sugar levels can be reduced and sleep patterns can be improved.
Spas are also good for Diabetics who are unable to exercise; some doctors recommend that spas should be included as regular therapy.
Soothe Arthritis Pain
The buoyancy of the water supports and lessons the stress we place on our joints. A spa can help us keep our joints moving and exercise at ease without the pressure. By having a spa in the morning we can help our bodies enjoy the rest of the day with less pain and more comfort.
