Stage 1: Hand-Digging the Spa Hole
In one of our recent projects, we tackled a backyard with extremely limited access—no room for excavators or bobcats. But that didn’t stop us! Our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, hand-digging the spa hole to ensure everything was just right.
Hand-digging might be tough, but it’s a great solution when access is tight. This meticulous process allows us to shape the space perfectly, even in the trickiest areas.
Stage 2: Lifting the Spa Shell into Place
Once the hole was ready, it was time to bring in the spa shell. But with no space for machinery to navigate, how do you get a large spa into a small backyard? The answer: a crane!
We used a crane to lift the Endless Universe Spa over the house and into its new home. With precision and care, we positioned the spa shell, setting the stage for the next phase—connecting the equipment and plumbing.
Stage 3: Backfilling and Preparing for Landscaping
With the spa shell in place, it was time to backfill the area. This process involves filling in the space around the spa with dirt, ensuring a stable foundation and preparing for the final landscaping touches.
Our team used an excavator to transfer dirt into a mini dumper. The dumper then transported the dirt down the side of the house to a wheelbarrow, which was used to carefully backfill around the spa shell. This final stage of backfilling is crucial, setting the scene for the beautiful landscaping that will soon follow.
